RESONANCE 104.4FM TO AIR JOHN DREDGE'S FIFTH SERIES

We're proud to announce that the radio versions of The John Dredge Nothing to Do with Anything Show's fifth series begin tomorrow, May 24th, at noon UK time on Resonance 104.4FM, and continue at the same time every Sunday for the following four weeks. The show is also repeated at 1am UK time on Fridays for all you truckers out there.

If you're not within Resonance's limited transmission area, simply visit their website and click on LISTEN, which will open their live Radioplayer stream for listeners in the UK. Listeners elsewhere in the world should click on ABOUT, then open the live stream link in the first paragraph.

If you miss any episodes, they should be uploaded to Resonance's Mixcloud feed soon after transmission and will also be available, along with the previous 14 episodes, on our own Mixcloud feed in due course as well.

In 2015, The John Dredge Nothing to Do with Anything Show was selected as one of the ten best programmes from the station's first decade of operation as a Community Radio station. In addition, the podcast version of the most recent series, available via British Comedy Guide, has picked up the following praise:

"[The] fifth season of [The Nothing to Do with Anything Show is] every bit as weird and wonderful as all that preceded it. An audio pastiche of Monty Python meets SCTV by way of The Carol Burnett Show, [John] Dredge's new season debut plays like a teaser trailer of bizarre and warped TV and radio shows rejected by the BBC."
Mark Hershon, New York Magazine / vulture.com

"Absolutely hilarious nonsense. It sounds like radio from a parallel dimension."
Podcast Radio Hour, BBC Radio 4 Extra

"Wonderfully produced and refreshingly ridiculous."
Miranda Sawyer, The Observer

"Guaranteed laughs, unless you're humourless - in which case, you have bigger problems."
Matt Watson, Podchaser.com

"An incredibly impressive affair [with] a huge amount of truly fantastic ideas on display. For once, I've no minor issues or tiny complaints when it comes to a podcast; this is consistently hilarious and a real joy to listen to."
Alex Finch, Comedy to Watch

"[John Dredge] deserves points for doing this podcast under his own steam rather than waiting for a Radio 4 commission."
David Hepworth, Radio Times

"Absolutely perfect for lifelong Radio 4 and 4 Extra fans - despite having nothing to do with either network."
Jane Anderson, Radio Times
